Rocking Out! Music Fridays Continue

It is happening! If you have spent any time downtown on a Third Friday of the month you have to have noticed. Like a snowball rolling down the side of a snow covered mountain, Music Friday continues to grow every month. Thank you to everyone who is helping to make Music Friday a success.

This month’s Music Friday is not one to be missed! Pig Merchants and American Babies will be performing on the “Mother Ship Stage” in Binns Park starting at 6:30 PM. With more than 30 Acts on various street corners, alleys, cafes and galleries, there is truly something for everyone.

In addition to all of the great music at the main stage in Binns Park and the many “Street Spots” throughout downtown, there will also be a “Community Percussion Parade” lead by Millersville University’s Percussion Studio. So grab a shaker or drum and join the parade of percussionists as they wander throughout downtown Lancaster drummin’, shakin’ and grinin’. The group will gather in Lancaster Square, across from Binns Park at 6:00 and begin their percussion journey at 6:30.

And if that is not enough, MFE is rounding up local artists to create sidewalk chalk art at various spots throughout the city. In short, September Music Friday is going to be a colorful, funky, jammin’ affair!
