Only A Few Days Left in the MFE Festival of Voices Indiegogo Campaign!!!

The MFE FOV needs you! Time is running out on your chance to be a partner in making this year’s choral festival, to be held Friday March 28, a huge success. Last year we packed the house and created tons of magical musical moments. This  year’s FOV will feature several choral acts of all sizes and styles. MFE Now Accepting Grant Requests!

Need some money to enhance your school or community based music program? Starting this month, MFE will begin accepting applications for our 2013-2014 grant cycle. This year we hope to award $75,000 in grants. Grant applications must be submitted by February 15, 2014, to be considered for an award. “MFE in the Schools” Update.

“MFE in the Schools” is still going strong! Michael Jamanis, Kate Umble, and Ryan Kaufman are currently working with over 300 kids per week in 8 different schools to strengthen music programs in SDOL. The program continues to be successful and is directly cultivating the power of music as an educational tool.

MFE CD Volume VII

Calling all Lancaster County Musicians! It’s your time to round up your band members, sharpen your songwriting skills, and loosen up those vocal chords!! We are now accepting entries for our seventh annual MFE CD compilation. Check out the song submission website here for details. This year’s submission deadline is March 1, 2014.

Reminder: MFE Ukulele Uprising!

Come join the MFE Ukulele uprising on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm at the VisionCorps building (244 N. Queen St.) All are welcome to this community building initiative.
