MFE Music Friday Summer Series Kicks Off on May 16th!

While Lancaster celebrates Music (third) Fridays year round, it is May through September when music activities on the streets peak, beginning at 6:00pm. Between the main stage act ( A-Train, an 11 piece Latin Band) , to the 15 or so street acts that appear on the street corners and alleyways on N. Queen, N. Prince, and King Streets, to the 12 MFE “Keys For The City” Pianos, to the music acts appearing in galleries, bars, and restaurants, there will be live music at close to 40 venues throughout downtown. So come on down and wander the streets. There will truly be Music For Everyone!

Also – Bring a can or cans of food to Music Friday to benefit the Lancaster County Council of Churches and The Loft at Millersville Food Banks. Drop off your canned goods at Lancaster Square (100 Block of N. Queen St.) from 5:00pm – 8:00 Pm.

AND… If that was not enough Music Friday activity, stop in at Lancaster Square between 5:30 and 8:00pm and add your unique artistic touch to the MFE Community Piano. Because this is a community piano, MFE believes that everyone in our community should have the opportunity to paint it. Brushes and supplies will be provided. All you have to do is bring your “artist’s eye”.

See ya on the 16th!

“Keys For The City 2014” Roll Out!
