“MFE in the Schools” Update.
“MFE in the Schools” is still going strong! Our Music Mentors are currently work with almost 300 kids per week in 8 different schools to strengthen music programs in SDOL. The program continues to be successful and is directly cultivating the power of music as an educational tool.
We would also like to announce some changes to our “Music Mentor” Lineup! Shortly we will be adding two new mentors, Angela Lansinger and Gentry Stoltzfus. They will be taking the place of Kate Umble as she is moving on to other musical adventures. Kate, it has been an absolute pleasure to have you with the “MFE in the Schools” program, and we wish you the best and much success in the future. While we will miss Kate we are thrilled to have two new and eager music mentors in Angela and Gentry.
MFE would like to thank Thomas & Georgina Russo Family Foundation for the support as the lead sponsor of the program.
Reminder: MFE Ukulele Uprising!
