September 2015 E-Blast!
September 19th, MFE Fall Barn Bast Featuring the Return of Mikey Jr!
It is not too late to get your tickets! This year the one and only Mikey Jr. will be returning to the Barn Stage on the Gerdy farm. If you have been to one of these, you know what we’re talkin’ ‘bout! If not we assure you it’ll be in your best interest to be there. If you have questions, contact John Gerdy: JohnGerdy@aol.com. Keys for the City 2015 Draws to a close.
As Fall is fast approaching, time is running out for your chance to practice random acts of music with the “Keys for the City” pianos. This exhibit will only be available until the last week of September, so get out there and tickle some ivories! We also love videos and pictures of our community members using the pianos so if you have any and would like to share them. Please email them to us HERE, or upload them to our Facebook page.

The MFE Singer Songwriter Showcase Continues!
MFE will host a singer-songwriter showcase/contest on the third Wednesday of every month at Tellus360. Each month a singer songwriter will be showcased. The four artists who bring in the largest audience during their show will have the opportunity to perform at the October showcase finale, which is also a benefit for MFE! So get on down to Tellus360 and support your favorite local songwriter for the MFE Singer-Songwriter nights!

September 18th Music Friday!
Be sure not to miss the September Music Friday! This one is going to be HUGE. In addition to the 20+ street spots sprinkled throughout the city and bagpipers roaming the street, the Millersville University Percussion Studio will be snaking their way through the city with a community percussion parade. Anyone can join the fun! So get on out there on September 18th Lancaster, you don’t want to miss this Music Friday!

Come join the MFE Ukulele Uprising on Tuesday evenings at the Vision Corps building at 244 N. Queen St. All are welcome to this community building initiative.
