We are very excited to announce a new initiative surrounding the Keys for the City pianos, the 24 Hour Piano Marathon. As MFE celebrates a “Decade O’ Keys” we’ll be hosting events throughout the city. In true MFE fashion, we’re gathering all of the piano players we know to keep the music going for a whole 24 hours. Starting at 12am on June 21st you’ll be able to hear the keys ringing constantly until 11:59pm. Our “mission control” will be located in Penn Square where we plan to “fonk-a-fise” the whole area with a stage, and other fun surprises. From there, we’re sending our folks out to tickle the ivories and make the keys ring like never before. So mark your calendar, and join in the fun!
