Doors will be at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:00pm. The event is for ages 21+ and admission is by a suggested donation of $10.

About Camp MFE

About Camp MFE

MFE is proud to provide another musical experience that heretofore had not been available to our city’s children each summer.DSC_0112

Music camp!

MFE has underwritten all of their expenses.

The camp’s focus this summer is on string instruments and is being directed by Mike Jamanis, Jr. . We hope continue to develop and expand summer camp opportunities in the future to include not only more children, but instruction in additional instruments.

We view “Camp MFE” as an excellent opportunity to improve not only the quality of musical experiences offered our children through our grant program but to also improve the quantity of musical opportunities available to them.

About Music For Everyone
Music For Everyone is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to raising the awareness and resources to strengthen the role that music plays in our schools and communities.Since 2006, MFE has awarded well over $1.0 million in grants, scholarships and direct program support to schools and community arts groups in Lancaster County.
Here’s why we exist:

Music is important to our community.
Research shows that music education helps create strong schools and vibrant communities.
Music programs are in financial trouble.
Despite overwhelming evidence of their value, funding for music programs is being slashed.
Music for Everyone is doing something to help.
Our mission is to cultivate the power of music for education and community building.

Our strategy employs three steps:

1. Consult with education and community leaders to identify and assess needs of school and community based music programs,
2. Raise community awareness of those needs and resources to address them,
3. Strategically invest those resources to effectively and efficiently address those needs.
